This implies applying Science to all area of life which includes Education, Production, Environmental, Medical, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Agriculture and the Economic aspect of a nation. It is indeed not out of place to say Science is life.

SLT Ofuoma visits Ministry Of Health
It was a breakthrough achievement and a milestone record in Nigeria as the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), School of Health Technology, Ofuoma, Delta State which became the first Health Institution with SLT department in Nigeria to be accredited by the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner of Health Dr. Mordi Ononye at his office.
The accreditation team of NISLT alongside the Staff of the Department being headed by Mrs Preye Bowen Oyimi and Comr. Efe Cletus Akpomedaye intimated the Commissioner on the need to support the Department in all ramifications as SLT in the school will pave way for research and advancement in health related issues.
The Commissioner expressed his joy over the visit saying he has envisage an environment where all health professionals would work together to create a research friendly workplace that will lead to advancement of the health sector.
He agreed to support the Department at all level and see that it becomes one of the leading research environment in the state.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Members wishing to present scientific research papers should submit their abstracts which should be limited to one A4 size paper text only without figures, tables and references but containing titles, authors and co-authors full names i.e. surname, first name and other names, membership number (for members) and the main text. The main text should be single spaced text, Times New Roman 10 point and no sectional headings. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 28th September, 2018 and for actual paper is 19th October 2018. The actual paper must be in MS PowerPoint and submitted only after the acceptance of abstract by the ABSTRACT Review Committee. All papers should be sent as an attachment to the e-mail address: inform@nislt.gov.ng or enquiry@nislt.gov.ng. Only quality scientific papers will be accepted for presentation at the conference.
PAPER PRESENTATIONS
Authors whose papers are accepted will be allowed only ten minutes to present the highlights of their papers. The full paper earlier submitted will be projected for presentation. Papers not previously accepted will not be allowed for presentation at the
